How we deal with your personal data

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system to provide the best online experience possible.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates including information from Vtamin Expert (www.vitaminexpert.co.uk) – our online advice portal which provides useful information and articles about Herbal Medicines and Food Supplements.

If you create an online account with us, which includes creating a unique password to access your account details in the future, your name, delivery address, billing address, email (if provided) and phone number (if provided) are stored within our site in order to make the ordering process easier for you next time. We do not store your payment details. If you create an account, your personal data will be stored on the site indefinitely or until you delete your account or request that your details are no longer stored with us.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you give consent for us to collect it and use it for that specific reason only.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 – ECOMMERCE

The Schwabe Shop is hosted on a secure server and uses Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and our website. The ‘S’ at the end of HTTPS stands for ‘Secure’. It means all communications between your browser and our website is encrypted to protect confidential online transactions.

Payment

Payment on the Schwabe Pharma UK website can be made either via Secure Trading or Paypal.

If you choose to pay with Secure Trading, you will be securely redirected to their payment service to enter your payment details. Secure Trading is a fully certified PCI DSS level 1 payment service provider, and guarantees PCI compliance across their payment gateway services.

If you choose to pay with PayPal, you will be securely redirected to their payment service to enter your payment details. When you pay with Paypal, your financial information is not shared with Schwabe Pharma UK, and you can pay using only your email address and password. If you forget your login, you can recover it by yourself or you can contact Paypal if you need help.

We do not store credit card details nor do we share financial details with any 3rd parties
